SSPP CCW Meeting on Sept. 14

SSPP CCW Meeting Sept. 14th All ladies of the parish are invited to the CCW meeting on September 14th at 6 pm in the church basement. Please feel free to bring a wrapped raffle item to donate. Saint Gianna Unit will be hosting the meeting

St. Patrick’s Unit 6 of the Catholic Council of Women will meet on Thursday, September 14th in the school library at 9:30 am. All women of SSPP are invited to join to help benefit our parish. Dues are due and Connie Pfeiffer is our hostess.

The Fall Deanery Meeting will be held Tuesday, September 19th at Sacred Heart Parish, Nekoosa. Board Meeting at 4 p.m., Social at 5 p.m., Dinner at 6 p.m., Speaker at 7 p.m. Guest Speaker is Julie Worzella from Destiny Point, Women’s Restoration Home. Catechesis Of the Good Shepard
A catechesis program for children ages 3-5 will begin on Tuesday, September 19th, with sessions at 10 AM and 4 PM. Orientation for parents will be held Tuesday September 13th at 6:15 PM at the SSPP school building. Registration will be available in the back of the church. Relics of Saint Padre Pio

Celebrating the 130th anniversary of Saint Padre Pio’s birth, and the 15th anniversary of his canonization, relics of Saint Padre Pio will be available for public veneration in the Diocese of La Crosse on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph the Workman, 530 Main Street, La Crosse. Veneration of the relics will be offered from 9:00 am until 11:45 am and 1:15 pm – 6:30 pm. Mass will be offered at 12:10 and 7:00 pm. The 7:00 pm Mass will be in honor of Saint Padre Pio and will be celebrated by the Most Reverend William Patrick Callahan. Confession will also be available throughout the day. We are in need of many volunteers to assist with this special event. If you or someone you know would be interested in giving a few hours of time that day to assist, please contact Debbie at or call the Bishop’s Office at 608-791-2686. We need individuals to assist with parking, directing traffic, directing visitors and the guest area.
