Parent Expectations

- Parental involvement is essential for the success of the program. First and foremost, parents are expected to read all notes and information emailed or sent home.

- Parents should review and talk about the topics their children covered in class each week using the parent Faith and Life Handbook. Teachers will be sending you notes to keep you informed on what has been covered.

-Attend classes once a month with Father Schaller and attend the planned family social events throughout the year.

- Religious Education is to be a tool in helping you to formally teach your children the basic truths of the Catholic Church. We are here to help you. You as parents are given a mission and calling from God to be the primary teacher of faith to your children. We have your children for just a short time each year. Please continue the work done in the classroom by bringing the faith home to be lived daily in your families.

-Attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation with your children. Go to confession regularly as a family. Once a month is a good practice.
