Religious Education

SS Peter and Paul Family Faith Formation

*Note: All children who are making sacraments at our parish, whether homeschool, Catholic school or public school, are required to attend Family Faith Formation classes during their sacrament years.

Every year parents should complete this Safe Environment training for the Diocese of LaCrosse. Please follow the link below. We will be notified when you have completed the training. Your children in Religious Education will also receive safe environment training in the classroom. If you wish to decline the training for your child, please see Mindy Konkol or Deacon Ruesch for the parent declination form to sign.

Faith Formation Schedule 2023-2024

Family Faith Formation
Dinner and
Registration Night

When: Wednesday August 30th at 6:00pm
Where: SS Peter and Paul Church Basement
Who: The whole family
Why: Family Faith Formation sign up night and dinner is Wednesday August 30th at 6pm in the church basement.  Bring the whole family for dinner!  After dinner children can meet their teachers, see classrooms and have fun while parents learn about the upcoming year and register children for classes.  Family Faith formation is for children K-12th grade.  We meet one Wednesday a month and while the children are in class, parents have a class with Father.  The following weeks parents are responsible for their child's catechesis. Research has found the parents are the most influential factor in faith formation.  We are here to walk beside you and equip you with the tools you need.  “The role of parents in education is of such importance that it is almost impossible to provide an adequate substitute.” The right and duty of parents to educate their children are primordial and inalienable. (CCC, #2221)

Snow Days
In the event of bad weather, the parish will monitor the weather situation and make a determination if Family Faith Formation will be held or canceled. Just because schools cancel in the area, doesn't mean Family Faith will be automatically canceled. Please watch your e-mails and Facebook for updates.  We will get an update out no later than 3pm.
